Celebrities

The celebrity that I would want to be is Carrie Underwood. I would want to be her because she has amazing talent that has been undiscovered for so long. She is not like other singers who have people modifying the sound of her voice for a cd, she actually has real talent. Along with her amazing talent, she is very nice and drop dead gorgeous, so this is why I would want to be her.

The celebrity/ or celebrities in this case that I would like to fight is, The Jonas Brothers. They're so gay that even I could beat them up. I am definitely not a fan of them. They remind me of little boys inside teenage boy's bodies, which is why I still do not understand why girls my own age are in love with them. And their music is like listening to a repititive children's show, or a suicidal show because that's how I feel when I listen to their music. As Lawrence Burton would say "Even the Arizona Cardinals had a better performance than they did at the last superbowl." Ultimately, I would have a lot of fun fighting The Jonas Brothers.

My favourite possession

My favourite possession is my leopard belt. It is my favourite because it gets me out of sticky situations all the time. When I'm walking around in my jeans I really don't want to sit down and everyone sees a show of my underwear. Instead they will see my stylish leopard belt that is always there for me when I need it. For some reason I can never find a pair of pants that will stay up because of my unusually small body so having a belt to go with eveyr single pair of pants or shorts is very important to me. So this is my favourite possession because it serves it purpose veyr well and it looks good too. I get the best of both worlds in my favourite possession.

24 hours to live!

Okay, so I have twenty-four hours to live and there are a lot of things I need to get done before I die. First, I need to go eat as many big macs as I possibly can because hey, I'm dieing anyways so clogging my arteries is not really a problem anymore. After I am so full that I can barely move then I need to get all of my friends together for a huge "going away" party. As they are all arriving to my party I am out for a ten kilometer run working of that McDonald's. When I am finished running I will go straight back to my party. There will be at least 150 people there and they all better be having a lot of fun! Because, before I die I don't want people to be unhappy I want them to have the best times of their lives with me. If I had more time to live I would travel the world and try to see as much as I can but since I only have 24 hours then a big party for my last day of life sounds pretty good to me! And when I do die, I better not see anyone wearing black at my funeral or I will haunt them forever. I want every single person to be wearing something colorful because black is too depressing and my funeral will be known as a celebration of life.

High School?

When I think about highschool I think about that it is my last year and that all of my fours years at Orchard park are almost over my grade 12 year is definitely the hardest because this is the year that counts the most so this is when I have had to work the hardest and apparently I did not work hard enough because I received 60 percent in advanced functions and now I'm in nightschool at Sir John A Macdonald because apparently I'm dumb and now I have to suffer by going to this stupid school every monday and wednesday night from 6:00 until 9:30 and it is absoluteyl brutal but thank god i'm not the only person in this class and that other people form Orchard Park have to suffer along with me at nightschool and along with my brutal nightschool I have to deal with the homework from my four different classes at school and these four classes are not easy at all I have kinesiology writers craft data management and french so i basically have no life except school tihs semester and how could I forget my wonderful job at Kelsey's where they schedule me in for 5 shifts a week and the only reason I don't have alll seven days is because im in nightschool on the mondays and wednesdays so I really have no life because of school and work and as soon as this semester is over I will have a life because it will be summer time and I will be tanning outside and sleeping in every single day I can't wait it's only 3 more months of hell and then I will be free until september when I have to go to University well thats if I even get in because as I said before apparently I'm dumb and can't even get in to Brock university which leads to why I am working so hard right now So I really hope I get in to University even though it will definitely be a lot of work but I think my rant is over now to conclude high school for me is an overall very stressful environment.

Party Anyone?

So I decided that I'm going to have the best party in the world. In order to make this party THE BEST i need to invite the best people, right?

So these are the ten people that I would definitely invite:

1) David Beckham- because he is sporty and would be a great time to play games with. And it just happens to be that he is extremely good looking.

2) Channing Tatum- Hottie.

3) Sidney Crosby- enough said.

4) My boyfriend- I guess I would have to invite my boyfriend to make sure I will behave with all these good looking boys around. And he is fun to have around too, it definitely wouldn't be a party without him!

5) Jordan Winger- he's just crazy, I couldn't not invite him

6) My twin uncles- you'd have to meet them to understand why I'm inviting them. The best word to describe them is hilarious.

I guess I should invite some girls, have the same ratio of girls and boys....

7) ellen degeneres- funniest woman alive

8) Megan Foxx- I guess I should invite some good looking girls for the good looking boys

9) Amber Bramer- I couldn't party without my partner in crime

10) Tanja Grubnic- It wouldn't be a party without Tanja. She is my other partner in crime.

This is definitely going to be the best party!

A curse or a gift?

If I knew how my future was going to turn out I would consider this a curse. I would think it is a curse because if I knew how my future was going to be before it actually happened then I would be trying to do things in order to satisy what I saw in the future instead of just doing what I want to do in life. Or if I did not like what I saw in my future I would do the opposite of what I am supposed to do even if that isn't what I want to do. I just think knowing how my future is going to be would be extremely confusing and would make me think too much about how my life is going to turn out. I would rather just live every day not knowing what is going to come next.

If I knew how I lived in a past life I would consider this a gift because I think it would be interesting knowing about my past life. For instance, what if I was a dog or a bird or a male human being instead of a female. I would be intrigued to know what it is like to be someone or something else. Knowing my past life is different form knowing my future because if I know about my past nothing is affected and I don't want to try to change anything. Since it already happened I cannot do anything to change it and it will have nothing to do with my future.

So, knowing my past and future can be a gift or a curse. It all depends on how you look at it.

Me, Myself and I

When I was in grade four I had to switch Elementary schools because of my parents divorce at a very young age. I was never one of the smartest girls in the class because I was always loud and talking with my friends. But then when I switched schools I didn't know anyone so instead of not paying attention and talking I paid attention in class and ended up being the top of the class. After that I realized that all I needed to do was pay attention to obtain good marks. This is why throughout high school I have always been in academic and university courses and have been on honor roll. This is why in grade eleven I decided I wanted to go to University so I took all University courses. Now, I have applied to six Universities. The places I applied to are Brock, Western, Ryerson, Guelph, Mcmaster and Windsor for the Business Administration Programs. I applied for business because I have always been interested in management and organizing events, pretty much anything that has to do with interacting with people. I would really like to go to Brock in September because it is close to home so I don't have to move away from my parents if I do not want to. Also, a large variety of my high school friends are going to Brock so I would actually know people in my classes hopefully. So, changing elementary schools, showed me to try harder in school which lead to me obtaining good marks in school which lead me to having the opportunity to go to University this September. I appreciate everything that has caused me to be who I am today.

Move, Shake, Drop

If I wanted to descirbe my march break I would say it was absolutely crazy and chaotic. On the first night my neighbour had a going away party because he is moving at the end of March. The next morning at 7am my friends and I made our move to the infamous Montréal. We showed off our moves in the clubs on the dance floor. We danced and sang the song move, move, shake, shake, now drop! We then moved from the club to our favourite place, the peel pub! Of course we showed off our moves again on the dancefloor of the pub. By the end of this five day trip I never wanted to move again...until this weekend anyways.

The Encounter

Four of my best friends and I decided to take a road trip to Montreal for the march break. Myself, Amber B, Amber U, Sami and Alyssa all packed our stuff into Alyssa's little car and headed out to Montreal bright and early. We were all singing and dancing and having fun on the car ride up, just being girls. As soon as we arrived we threw our stuff in our rooms, changed our clothes and went out to explore the town right away.

"Come on guys let's go!" I shouted out to all of them.

They were taking way too long to change, seriously how long does it take!

They were finally done changing and we left to see the little town.

They were walking around the town and they saw a cute little restaurant called "S'ex chum".

"Hey guys you know what that kinda sounds like.." I exclaimed

"Kelsey just stop talking." Sami said to her.

And they all just laughed at her.

They went inside the restaurant which turned out to have a very large and lively bar area so they requested a table in that section.

"I'm actually legal here! I'm ordering a drink!" Amber U said.

"I'm definitely down for that!" replied Amber B.

We were all just talking at our table and Alyssa turned around and then turned back and started looked at us with a shocked face.

"Alyssa, what's wrong with you? You look like you just saw a ghost."

"OH MY GOD GUYS JESSE METCALFE IS RIGHT BEHIND US AT THE BAR!" Alyssa shouted.

We all turned around and sure enough there he was just sitting there with four other very good looking guys.

"What a coincidence, there's five of them and five of us..." Kelsey pointed out.
"oh my god kelsey..." Amber U said.

"so who's going to go talk to them first?" asked Sami.

As we were trying to decide there comes Jesse Metcalfe and his friends up to us.

"Heyy ladies"

We were all in awh and couldn't even talk so he follewed that with "Do you girls want to....."
and as he was just about finish his sentence he was trampled down by a group of girls. The girls would not leave him alone and when he tried to get up he couldn't for some reason...
he had soon discovered that he had broken his leg and could not move. His friends had to quickly pick him up and drag him out to the cat to get him to a hospital.

We went running out to see where they wetn but they were long gone.
"WOW, so we could have party with a group of hot guys and no they are no where to be found." Amber B exclaimed.
"Stupid girls." said Alyssa.

We were definitely not impressed.
We went back to the room and called all of our friends to tell them that we met Jesse Metclafe and how amazing it was.
and NO ONE believed us, no matter how hard we tried to convince them no one believed a word we were saying.
"so pretty much, we met someone famous and it was all a waste, and we couldn't even get a picture with him because of the girls attacking him." said Kelsey.
"This sucks!" Sami yelled.

"Well since no one is going to believe us we might as well just forget about it and have a good time while we're here!" said Amber U.
"Deal!" everyone exclaimed.

So the moral of the story is if you meet someone famous, TAKE A PICTURE or no one will believe you.
The End.

There are many movies and stories that I love but if I had to pick a top five they would be:

1) Grand Torino, it is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It is my favourite because the storyline is very good. It is based on gangs and racism and it makes a person think after they watch it. Another thing that I like which many movies lack is how it made me laugh, me me mad and and made me cry, not many movies have that capability. This is why it is a very unique movie.

2) The next thing I would choose is mine and my brother's favourite childhood story which is "Can't you sleep little bear?" My parents would read this story to us every night and I still remember every single detail about it. It brings back many memories of my childhood and how different it is now to be "all grown up".

3) One of my favourite stories since grade nine is Go Ask Alice because it made me feel like I was going through what she was going through, it was like I was part of the book. I had never read a true diary and it was very detailed which made me feel bad for her. Everything was so vivid I just couldn't believe that these things actually happened to her. This book made me relaize how fortunate I am to have such a good life.

4) My favourite book from grade eleven is Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen. No matter how many times I read it I never get sick of it. I think I've read it about four times now. I love this book because I can relate it to my own life. The main character, Scarlett is a sixteen year old girl whose boyfriend and first love dies in A motorcycle accident. This always makes me think about my own life because I don't know what I would do if my boyfriend died at such a young age. I think it would scar me for the rest of my life.

5) My fifth favourite movie is PS. I Love You because like Someone Like You, the main character's first love and husband dies but this is due to cancer. It was very sad but I loved how before he died he wrote letters to his wife that he planned for her mother to start sending to her the day that he died. It is definitely one of my favourite love stories. It also made me think about how I would deal with such a tragic event.

Unbelievable!

You would have never guessed this happened but....
When I was younger I feel down a flight of stairs at the beach and broke both of my legs. I tripped over a pair of shoes and this is what caused me to fall down the stairs. I obviously could not move and was laying there for what seemed like forever. Then a friendly older couple came to my rescue. They tried picking me up but I was shouting and screaming in agony. I have never been in so much pain in my entire life. I could not see very clearly because my glasses had fallen off at some point and I had gotten sand in my eyes. This couple seemed to be very nice and they called an ambulance for me right away. When the ambulance arrived it was not a normal ambulance. It was bright yellow and resembled a mini school bus. The doctors quickly brought me inside the ambulance on a stretcher and I was still in a great deal of pain. They gave me some painkillers to relieve myself a little bit. We arrived to the hospital after about fifteen minutes and it started to rain. Doctors all around me were shielding me with umbrellas until we were safely inside the hospital. They took me immediately to the emergency room and left me there for the doctor. While I was waiting for the doctor a nurse came in to ask me if I wanted anything. She told me there was a McDonald's inside the hospital so I asked her to get me a big mac meal. She left to get the food for me as I waited for the doctor. I was sitting on the edge of my bed in suspense for the doctor to come and help me. He took four hours to come see me AND I never got my McDonald's! and I swear to you, that is exactly how it all went down.

What I would not want to be

If I was an inanimate object I would definitely not want to be a floor, especially the floors of Orchard Park. I would not want to be a floor simply because I do not want to be walked all over. The floors of Orchard Park are extremely dirty and people throw food on them and sit on them and I would not want this to be done to me. Also, people jump on top of and vacuum floors. CAN YOU IMAGINE A RUNNING VACUUM ON TOP OF YOU? I would be so scared. Therefore, this is why I would not want to be a floor.

Something to satisfy my hunger

To be honest I would rather starve than have to eat a book. But if I had to choose these are the books that I would definitely eat.

The first book that I would eat is my favourite book "Someone Like You", by Sarah Dessen. I would eat this book because no matter how many how many times I read it i never get sick of it. I love this book because I can relate to it along with many other teenage girls.

The second book that I would eat is Go Ask Alice. It was also one of my favourite books and it is a truly inspirational story that should be shared with everyone. I would recommend reading it to anyone that hasn't but i'm sure everyone has read it because it is so great.

The third book that I would like to eat is Life of Pi because I did not like anything about this book and I just want to eat it so it is gone and I will never have to see it again. I thought the book dragged on too much and I did not enjoy reading about his religion and the two seperate scenarios just confused me. Even though many people enjoywed this book, I am not a huge fan of it.

The fourth book that I would eat is my great grandmother's cook book because before she died she would make the best treats for my brother and I. To have the opportunity to eat these treats again would make my day. So I would definitely eat my great grandmother's cook book, literally.

The final book that I would like to eat is a children's book called "Can't you sleep little bear?" that my parents used to read to my brother and I. It was always our favourite book and it reminded us of our father reading to us late at night when we couldn't fall asleep because we were afraid of the dark. I would eat this book to bring back the memories of my childhood. It was and still is my favourite book of all time:)

Superwoman

The most vivid memory of my childhood is one day when I was about eight years old my brother and I decided that it would be fun to climb in between the door frames. We would use our arms and legs to climb up the sides of the door frames and decided to climb to the top of them and jump down like superman. So my brother made it to the top and jumped down and I thought I would do the same because we were always competing against each other. So I climbed to the top and jumped down and it definitely did not end well. I ended up breaking my right arm, cutting my lip open and losing three of my teeth. All I remember is my dad running over to me, picking me up and throwing me in the car. We arrived at the hospital on a very busy day. My mother arrived about an hour later and we were waiting to see a doctor for four hours! It was probably the most pain I have ever been in, in my entire life. It seemed like people that arrived after we did were getting in to see a doctor before me. It made absolutely no sense because I was covered in blood and my arm was twisted, but people were walking by me like I was not important at all. I survived and people made fun of me for a long time but it was fun at the time.

My Mini Autobiography

It all started on November 26th 1991 which was the day I was born. I was born at St. Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington and I began my life on Macintosh Drive in Stoney Creek. My parents separated when I was six years old while I was attending Mountainview Elementary School. When I was 9 years old I was forced to change schools and attended Winona Public School because Winona is where my father had moved. Now, I am seventeen years old and I am in grade twelve at Orchard Park Secondary School, my senior year. I am still living on Macintosh Drive with my mother and in Winona with my father. Both of my parents remarried and I not only have my full brother, Colin but I now have four step sisters, three of which are living in Alberta. The other step sister lives with my father and step mother and her name is Jordyn. Both my brother and step sister also attend Orchard Park and they are in grades nine and ten.

I work at Kelsey's restaurant, Kelsey works at Kelsey's!(haha), and I love my job because I love working with and around people. My biggest interest is interacting with people and in University I would like to get into business/events management so I can fulfill my love of working with a large amount of people. My goal is to finish high school on honor roll and to be accepted into Brock or Guelph University. Starting University at only seventeen years old is going to be a huge step for me but I am definitely ready for all the obstacles that come my way.

A tip I have for everyone is live life with no regrets.
